Changing the view settings may relieve some frustration expressed in this request.
In Lab Case Manager, click View.
On the first tab (General Options), you can filter from labs, patients, sent method (how it was shipped, and sent and/or finished date ranges.
On the second tab (Receive Options), you again have sorting options – (methods, provider, date)
On the third tab, you can choose to include or exclude Sent, Received, or Finished cases (by checking or unchecking the box).If by default you don’t prefer to see the finished cases, you can uncheck that box on the third tab, and also check the box “Save as Default” Press OK, and your lab case manager will always open to that view (on this computer only). You may come back and change it at any time.

This feature is available in “Billing Types” which is located in the ledger, click on File | Billing/Payment Agreement, then select “Bad Debt – To Collections”
Using this method, you can filter them out of most reports by changing the “Billing Type” filter of that report.

I guess what I mean is that it would be like the archived button and you have to go to family file and then click the little box in order for it to show up so they are all together like a sub catergory or file..
