        We greatly appreciate your feedback. While the thoughts from our users on this change have been split, we feel it is important to provide both groups with the functionality that they need to be successful. Therefore, we have added an option to view it with a credit or as a zero with G7. That feature will soon be added to beta and will release with G7.

        G7 has been in beta for a little over a month. We expect a release in the spring. We would love to have more beta testers for G7 should you wish to get this sooner.

          Hello All:

          Thank you for the enhancement request. We currently store the claim detail for much longer than 30 days in eCentral. In addition, the NEA number will be visible as well. It is true that the actual image of the attachment is removed after 30 days, all the other pertinent information should be there. We will review this request and see what we can do to improve this experience.

            I spoke with our development team, and after a bit of deliberation and discovery, the team has agreed that this change was unintentionally affecting the ability to modify PowerPay payments through Dentrix. And have decided to reverse this change in our Q4 2017 release, which is currently in development.

            You are correct. G6.5 is the Q3 release. Our Q4 release is G6.6 and should have the update you are looking for. It is currently in beta testing.

              We recently entered into an agreement with Care Credit. We are starting the discussions on how to manage this more effectively within Dentrix. More news will come as the relationship and discussions progress.

                Using Male and Female for gender in the Family File is necessary because that field is used for insurance billing. And therefore is intended to be used to store a patients legal gender.

                If you’d like some other way to recognize a patient’s gender, we have several options to help in the meantime:

                The Preferred Name field can be used to indicate what name the patient goes by.

                The Title field can be used to indicate how a patient wants to be addressed, so a patient who identifies as a male, but who’s legal gender is female could have “Mr.” as their title.

                You can also include questions on gender identity in the questionnaires module, and store information like gender identity in the patient notes.

                As always, we appreciate the request, and will keep this idea open for continued consideration, but we thought it important to make everyone aware of…

                    Thank you for participating on MyVoice. I can tell you that we are slowly working towards allowing all reports to be opened in excel. With the release of Dentrix G6 we are re-writing the Practice Assistant into a new module called 'Dentrix Reports'. In addition to the reports that were already included in the old Practice Assistant we will be adding some new PPO Analysis Reports. This is the first step to migrating all existing reports offered in Dentrix, plus some exciting new ones, over to this new module that will allow you the ability to open them in excel and manipulate the data how you see fit.

                    Also, with the release of Dentrix G6 we are updating the Letters area. This will now improve the ability to create custom lists and open those directly into excel as well as a new 'list manager' similar to the collections manager. We feel these two new additions are laying the groundwork for a much more powerful reporting experience in Dentrix.
