This option is very much needed. As it is now, I have to print the charting, scan it and then email it. Way to time-consuming.

I have often thought this myself. It is very time consuming to jump back and forth, date to date, for sometimes up to 4 family members.

We once used PracticeWorks for a short time and they had a post-it note capability. That was one of the positive things about the software. Maybe something along those lines would be possible to create for Dentrix. You could chose the note color, and place them anywhere to pop up on specified dates. However, I believe they were only viewable from the work station that created it. So my notes would not pop up on any of the other stations. It would be better to have an option when generating the post-it to choose if it should be systemwide or personal. The little note box in the appointment book is so small it doesn't catch your eye to remember to look in it so unfortunately it is hardly ever used in our office. I'm hoping Dentrix can come up with something soon. Let them know if you think it would be a good addition to an already great software.
