How can we improve eCentral?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. esync

    The daily auto sync stops when the server is restarted. Sometimes we don't know when this happens and it takes days to texts and appointment updates and confirmations aren't being sent out. I would like for it to be able to restart automatically when server reboots.

    • If eservices on the server are stopped and restarted the Practice Data Sync should start with them.

      Sometimes esyc gets stopped or the services are stopped, when we restart it with the icon the practice data sync and services management tool do not restart. This causes mobile and appointment manager / appointment status updater to not work. Then we don't find out until days or weeks later when our patients start complaining. Please fix this, these services should all start with the icon. Thank you

      • Email your customers when esync fails to upload correspondence

        When eysnc fails to send the text/email communications you need to send out an email informing us. We may need to contact patients early for those whom have been set-up to receive only email or text correspondence. It would really be nice to be informed anytime your doing updates to the esync system that away we can be prepared for any issues that may arise.

          • Would like the option not to install eSync with Dentrix

            Please allow us to Opt-out of the eSync install during the G5 setup.

            • eSync window is very large, annoying

              We recently upgraded to the latest version of eSync. Now when we're booting into Windows a huge blank window appears, and blocks 3/4 of the screen as eSync loads. Once it's loaded you have to click on it to make it finally go away. Why does this window even need to be there when booting? Just have eSync start minimized. The blue "Connecting to eSync Servers" window that pops up is also annoying. On some of our older workstations these 2 windows take forever to go away; everyone has been complaining about it.

              • insurance eligibility for day(s) needed - not two weeks out

                I would like the insurance eligibility report in websync to only show that patients on the days needed instead of 2 weeks worth of patients.

                • Update coverage table from eligibility

                  I would suggest having the option to update the patient's coverage table using coverage information obtained from eligibility using eServices.
