How can we improve eCentral?

Allow E-Claims to accept attachements for ins companies that don't accept attachments

Since E-Claims can receive e-claims for insurance companies that do not accept electronic claims (E-claims prints and mails the claim in), I would like to be able to send attachments to the same E-claims Payor ID (06126) and have E-Claims accept the attachments, print the attachments and mail it with the paper claim.

We shouldn't have to print claims and mail them in just because a company doesn't accept attachments.

Yes, that would be excellent. We signed up for the service, was charged the set-up fee and then discovered that it created more work in that we had to go back and send attachments through NEA-FastAttach afterall. Dentrix would not credit us for the $150 set-up fee as we were told that it was a non-refundable fee. This did not seem right since we had no way to tell that it would not work for us until we tried it. We are not happy about this at all.

eclaims would be far more efficient if they would warn the sender that "the payor does not accept attachments" during the validation process.

This is a big problem. I was getting about 40% if my claims rejected because the ins. co. did not accept attachments. Thia was creating double work for us.
