Text Message Phone # in Family File
Add a Text Message phone # to the family file. This number would be the only number used for texting appointment reminders. Patients opt in by giving you a text #. If blank, they automatically opt out of text correspondence.

This is the reason why we stopped using it. We were getting to many complaints from pts that they called to cancel their appt. but still received a text. It made us look like we were incompetent. We had a lot of pts who loved this feature but because of this huge flaw we have to wait til the problem is fixed.
