  1. Kiosk Problems

    After 1 month of trouble shooting iPad kiosks we have shut it down. We made the questions as simple as possible (literally just name address and phone #) and patients still have problems. Disliked that current patients default to to new patient forms if they do not find themselves on the first try. Patients were hitting the green GO button instead of Next and there were too many clicks to get to the end of the forms. The last Finish button should be eliminated.   2. Allow new patients to fill out their paperwork with smart phones/tablets that use browsers other than Adobe Flash Player 9.

    Currently we have our new patients go to our website to fill out their new patient paperwork. A large number of patients are unable to fill out their paperwork prior to arriving to our office when using their smart phones or tablets that do not and can not use the Adobe browser. This not only includes IPhones, IPads, but also some Android devices.   3. Please improve the kiosk to be able to update medical histories, and patients can sign them on an ipad or other device.

  4. Developing Kiosk to match dentrix standards

    Kiosk needs to develop to match what dentrix has to offer.

  5. Loss of Information Warning

    Loss of Information Warning, When patients are completing questionnaires online, and for whatever reason decide not to finish, they should get a pop up warning, that if they close this window, All information will be lost and they will have to start over.

  6. Kiosk is a problematic and way too limited

    Wanting to implement Kiosk, we are starting to find out how limited it is. Ipad only? Why not other tablets or devices. I don't really want to be handing out a $400 device when I could use a $100 device. The fact that we cannot pick which docs a patient needs is infuriating. Not a happy camper right now.

  7. kiosk app for surface tablet

    Currently there is no kiosk app for microsoft surface tablet. The surface currently can only go to kiosk.ident.com but then the orientation of that site on surface is all over and then when the questionnaires open then they don't occuply the full screen and there is no way to change that. Surface tablets are gaining popularity and because they are windows based we have more use for them. Moreover creating a windows 8 app will allow it to be used on a wide variety of windows 8 tablets that are now available in the market. Atleast somehow it should have…

  8. capitalize

    We have patients fill out questionnaires using tablets, and they often don't capitalize or use punctuation. Their information then gets updated in Dentrix using all lower case, and has to be corrected manually by the staff often. It would be nice if at least the name and address fields would force upper case on the first letter of words, and ensure that a period is added after common abbreviations like Sr., Rd., St., and so forth.

  9. I would like a direct URL to my questionnaires

    I want a direct link to the questionnaires so that I can email my patients and give them the option of filling in their new patient forms, medical history, etc. ahead of their scheduled appointments. I don't like only being able to access them via the eCentral supported website.

  10. When questionaires come up on kiosk they need to populate on the screen rather than showing as a button under the words "Forms Completed".

    The patients think that there is nothing to update and don't click on the button to view the form. It was better in the past when the form populated up on the screen automatically. When patients think the forms are already completed, they do not open the forms to view them and then our staff has to guide them back in and instruct them to click on that particular form. When the form needing to be updated is past the expiration date, the form should automatically come up for the patient to update. The wording above the buttons confuses the…

  11. Kiosk: Forms relevant to appointment

    Currently, we have questionnaires set up, but would like to select which forms patients need. For example, not every existing patient would need a nitrous consent form if its not relevant to their appointment. Thank you, and look forward to your response.

  12. in the Kiosk -- please give the option of just the employer name ( and NOT the employer address)

    Would like the kioski under the employer section to just have the employer name ( and not employer address) for a PI option.

  13. Set Questionnaires option to require updates by months since last update and age

    We need to be able to set questionnaires to need to be updated at an interval and by birthdate. Medical Histories need a time interval like 12 months, but HIPAA and Financial forms need to be updated when an minor turns 18. Currently the expiration option for questionnaires makes the questionnaire inactive, so then you have to manually reactivate with a new form ID and then go to WebSync Wizard and select the new form to upload then do a WebSync. There has got to be a better way.

  14. Allow Kiosk to use internal network

    The Dentrix Kiosk should be a local app that can communicate directly with the server. Currently, if there is a walk-in patient or emergency patient who's appointment is entered into dentrix after a web sync is preformed, the system does not recognize the patient as an existing patient. Therefore, a web sync has to be performed every time there is a last minute entry into the Appointment Book. Additionally, more service interruptions and connectivity latency occur when the kiosk has to communicate via internet than via local access network.

  15. KIOSK SIGN IN SHEET

    KIOSK should have a sign-in feature that posts to the patient's chart and or office journal which also includes an alert that the patient has checked in and whether they have updated any information. Should also be able to run a report for the days check-ins with the option of including electronic routing slips.

  16. Patient picture in questionnaire

    We use an ipad for our patients to fill out a new patient form, and it would be nice if they could take a picture of themselves on the ipad and have that upload to their patient chart along with the questionnaire.

    Kiosk automatically be updated into pt's chart. All the information, health history, etc be automatically updated with out manually syncing.

  18. Questionnaires

    Please help .. My Questionnaires are on my website for NP to fill out. I have Form A, B, and C. Many patients are only able to fill out Form A and then cannot access form B and C. Dentrix has not been able to help. Has this happened in your practice and do you have a solution.

  19. Kiosk questionaires; address info accept if typed in lower case.

    When entering pt info, under their address info it allows them to enter their state with a lower case letter as the second letter; for example "Tx" instead of "TX". When update is selected the family file rejects the state as invalid because one of the letters is lower case. It would be great if this field defaulted to upper case so we don't have to do this manualy for every patient.

  20. iPad/Kiosk Signature Capture

    Allow iPad/Kiosk to capture signatures that will load into completed Questionnaire in Dentrix. Rather than having our patients sign on a signature pad after they have completed the kiosk/iPad form, it would be great and more efficient if they had a signature box at the end of the form that they could sign on the spot.
