Schedule appointments with our phones
Our office phones are transferred to the office cell phone after hours, of which I have the pleasure of handling and it would be nice if we could schedule appointments with our phones so I don't have to boot up or even carry around a netbook.

This is a great idea in theory, but difficult to work on. We have met with many merchant services companies and no one has been able to provide the level of service and integration points that Moneris has provided. We frequently review our merchant services options to make sure we have the right partners for our customers. We will continue to review this idea as we see more customers express their viewpoints.

We are working on a mobile update that will add some additional requested features. It will not include those listed in this idea, but we are reviewing our upcoming plans for mobile and this is under consideration.

We are planning on including this in the next version of Dentrix Mobile. -
Patient form input via Kiosk/Web/Questionnaire severly limited due to no signature at time of input
Without the patient being able to complete and sign a form (questionnaire) at the same time as they are inputing their data, the usefullness of these methods of patient input is severly reduced by the lack of a signature. In a busy office, it's nearly impossible to get the Administrative Staff to remember to get a signature every time. The completion of the form and the signature need to be coupled together. This is especially error prone when the form is submitted via the web.

Text Message Phone # in Family File
Add a Text Message phone # to the family file. This number would be the only number used for texting appointment reminders. Patients opt in by giving you a text #. If blank, they automatically opt out of text correspondence.

Allow E-Claims to accept attachements for ins companies that don't accept attachments
Since E-Claims can receive e-claims for insurance companies that do not accept electronic claims (E-claims prints and mails the claim in), I would like to be able to send attachments to the same E-claims Payor ID (06126) and have E-Claims accept the attachments, print the attachments and mail it with the paper claim.
We shouldn't have to print claims and mail them in just because a company doesn't accept attachments.

We had examined doing, but with the switch to electronic payments from insurance companies and credit/debit card payments from patients, we don’t know if there is still a need. What are your thoughts?

Keeping records of sent claim insurance #
Post automatically the processing claim number of each successfully sent claim directly into the ledger of the patient in the batched insurance claim under insurance claim status/insurance claim note.

SEND COLLECTION LETTERS THROUGH DENTRIX/QUICKBILL
Need to be able to either include collection letters with billing statements through Quickbill and or expand dunning messages and billing statement notes to 1,000 characters so we can automatically generate collection letter copy within the billing statement. need the office journal note to document which statement/collection letter was sent. need if fully customizable.ie, we want collection letter copy of one type to automatically go out with the 2nd billing statement, another for the 3rd, i.e, such as final notice, etc. it is ridiculous to depend on front desk staff to have to do this manually as they have always… more

Questionnaires through DXWEB
There should be a way to link questionnaires to the continuing care (think med history needing to be updated regularly) and have dxweb send out a reminder to the patient to go to the website to update and submit before their appointment. Why are we still looking manually at if they need to fill out a new med history?

Kiosk - choose forms available for each patient
Right now the choice of "New Patient" or "Existing Patient" for patients to fill out forms is very limiting. I would like to be able to select the forms for patients individually from the Kiosk start window. If I only want a Medical Update that would be all the patient would have to navigate through. If I want a patient satisfaction survey in combination with a medical history form I select those two forms. Warn of insurance companies that do not accept attachments during the validation process
Currently when you batch a claim with an attachment, but that payor does not accept attachments- eclaims does not warn you during the validation report, instead you get this information after the claim has been sent without the x-rays, perio charting etc...
This is way too late! Now the claim is at the insurance company being denied due to not having x-rays. On our end we must print the claim with the x-rays and write on the claim that this is "NOT A DUPLICATE CLAIM" so that our 2nd claim is not denied b/c the insurance company thinks we have… more

Add a button for NEA-Fast Attach within Dentrix
Please add a button within Dentrix to be able to access FastAttach and capture FastAttach id #'s into the Docuement Center.
