  1. Daily Huddle Report family without appointment

    It seems that this reports shows an X in this column if there is any family, including the patient, who do not have an appointment in the future not including the day of the report. So for example, if 2/3 of the patients coming in tomorrow are coming for hygiene and we typically only book their next appointment after their current appointment, then assuming these hygiene patients have no other appointments booked, they will all have an X in this column.     This is not the designed behavior – The “X” should only display if the patient/family member has no appointments either today or in the future – I have confirmed this on our end. I believe our support team still has intentions to reach out to you to discuss this. I have asked that they report this to the development team when they do, so that this can be properly documented.

  2. Being able to put provider names at the top of the columns on the appointment book.

    There should be a way to put individual provider names at the top of the appointment book.

  4. practice setup

    It is very NOT user friendly to setup the hours for the practice in the appointment book. we have 3 docs and 4 hyg everyday with different schedules. any time we deviate from the "templated" schedule we have made, we have to go into each op to change the hours. would be much easier if we could change multiple ops schedules at the same time (like using control button to highlight op 3, op 4, op 5 all together). i've seen this on other PM systems so i know it CAN be done. just waiting to see if dentrix will…

    When changing times for operatories it would be great to have the option to change them all at once as well as individually.

  6. appointment book view should accomodate more than 20 operatories

    Our office has 26 operatories. The appointment book view should allow me to "see" then all at once. with my double 24" monitors it could be spread out to be very functional.

  7. Appointment Book Purge Option at EOM

    Please eliminate the option to purge old dentrix appointments. This happened to us in error and now we have lost very important info. Apparently this can be done by mistake if a box is checked off while closing a month. this seems like a very dangerous option to have.

  8. Printing cumulative notes from upper left box of appointment book view.

    Would like to be able to view and/or print notes from past note boxes not yet deleted or cleared from a wide range of dates to capture overlooked tasks or notes not brought forward from previous dates, without having to click on each box and open to see what's still in the box. Ideally, to print on as few pages as necessary, as a list, as printed in the note boxes, with dates where entered.

  9. You should be able to navigate through the schedule with an appointment open

    With an appointment open, it is not possible to navigate through the schedule. At times, this presents an unnecessary inconvenience.

  10. Patient Account Manager

    There should be a way to assign a case manager to each patient (front desk staff). So that way that case manager will help and follow through with this patient with No show/cancelled appointments so we have less fall through the cracks. There should also be a way to have a print out of patients names for each case manager.

  11. NOT SURE ABOUT CATEGORY - We would like to make it so that various users are not able to change fees in an appointment.

    We would like to take away the ability for various users to be able to change the fees associated with a certain appointment. We want ONLY certain people to have this privilege. I have called several times and explained what I wanted, but have been told each time that it is not possible

  12. Appointment set complete by using "Status" rather than "Blue Check" icon doesn't get to ledger

    Have found instance where Appointment was set complete by using "Status" rather than "Blue Check" icon. This doesn't get it entered to the ledger. I need a way to generate a report to find other times this may have happened. Otherwise I have to select each appointment to check if completed properly.

  13. It would be great if on an existing appointment, there would be a button for patient's estimated coinsurance due for what was scheduled.

    The ability to see a patient's estimated coinsurance due from the appointment book without having to go through the treatment planner or the ledger. This would be particularly helpful for those patient's whose insurance does not cover preventive at 100% or if insurance pays UCR. It would be so much easier to give the patient their estimated amount due while scheduling.

  15. Appointment Check Boxes

    On the appointment screen a check box section needs to be added to show what permission or consent has been given for treatment. This is especially helpful for minors when we need to know if we can do fluoride or x-rays.

  16. Move appt blocks from column to column

    We have 3 DDS ops that have "perfect day blocks". It would be nice if we could move those blocks from column to column. At the moment you can only keep the block in 1 column.

  18. Changing fees on multiple procedures at once.

    If you look at the function and flow of a dental front office, you will quickly see that there is not enough time for the front desk coordinator to get all the insurance verified, entered, etc. before the patient is brought back to an operatory and procedures begin being marked complete. This is creating more work for that team member who then has to manually correct all the fees for the procedures just marked complete by the clinical staff and do it before the claim is generated and sent.   19. appointment book events integration

    We use the appointment book and events feature alot. This allows us to block off our staff meetings, to block off a late start or early out while the other providers still working as normal, it allows us to block for meetings, etc. It would be wonderful if the events feature would integrate with an internet based calendar, like google. So that anywhere we have our mobile phone, we can pull up the office schedule and be like oh no that's an abnormal day I have lunch at 11 not 12 because the events including meetings and such will push…

  20. Checking in Patients

    I am looking for an option that would allow the front office to "check" in a patient when they arrive if the Dentalink is frozen. A right click on a patients appt to access a drop down menu that you can either choose patient arrived or patient cancelled etc and with that option it would either change the color of the appt depending on your selection in the drop down menu or a distinctive mark on the appt so the staff in all clinical locations can see the change and now the progress of the appt.
