  1. Please send an alert or notice when E-Services are NOT working properly.

    Please send an alert or some type of notice when there are issues with services being disrupted. We have had a few patients (and occasionally staff members) who cannot do their forms, or do other necessary tasks, online or in the office and this causes delays/frustrations throughout the day.

    • Billing statements

      When viewing billing statements, if primary insurance has paid there portion and the patient has secondary insurance and has been billed but not paid on, please provide secondary insurance information so we know not to send the statement because secondary has paid on the claim yet.

        When premium members require technical assistance, those inquiries should be directed ONLY to a stateside representative. It is very frustrating to be placed on hold when a foreign customer service representative can barely speak English and is learning the answer to your question while you wait. Then when they finally return to your call and tell you it takes time to reach a supervisor, more time is taken from your work day. Because premium members pay more for technical support, I believe we should go direct to an American representative.

          We have a patient who is missing #28. #27 is in #28's spot. We need to leave #R where is it in the tooth chart. We are unable to change #28 to #27.

            • Please add the ability for us to obtain the patient's employment information and spouse's information on the Heatlh History Form

              If we are turning a patient over to our collection attorney they require the patient's demographic information and the spouse's information along with employer name, address and phone number for both. We are unable to get this information on the health history information to print off for them.

              • i cannot believe that dentrix have not made a print deposit slip for the bank

                cannot do a deposit slip that at the end of the day you can print it and take it to the bank

                • Print CDT codes on the prescriptions

                  As of 12-29-17 in Ohio the CDT code needs to be on the prescriptions along with the days supply. We would like to be able to merge the cdt code on the prescriptions.

                    This can be accomplished by modifying the “Sig” body of the prescription, please see article # 88437 on our resource center, located at www.dentrix.com/resource-center/

                    I will keep this idea active, as having this process automated is a good suggestion.

                  • Archiving

                    I have been doing the archiving for years. It's always been simple. With the G6 upgrade it has become very time consuming and inconvenient. Now you must do multiple credit/debit adjustments to every single patient ledger to archive members of a family. It has tuned in to a very long process and now the adjustments are reflecting into the practice analysis. It is giving a false representation of production. There should be a override to archiving.

                      You purchased practice assistant from a third party. Were you too lazy or cheap to develope those reports yourselves so that they would actually generate? Data mining reports should be easy to create with user defined peramiters. I recently upgraded from Dentrix XI to G5. To say the least, I am not impressed. All you did was add stupid graphics to the charting, made routine things more complicated than they need to be, shrunk thi icons. All a waste of my time and money, If I could go back I would.                         When patient registers for an online account to make an online payment, they receive a Thank You message that says "your account has been activated by our office, you will receive an email notification that your account is available for you to use". However we were told not to automatically send an email through Dentrix because the patient will then get an email every time something is changed in their account.                           DENTRIX PAY - Should work same as Power Pay did & should not have been implemented until all that Power Pay was able to do could be done by Dentrix Pay. You can not split a payment between family members with ease. You have to unclick the cc used once ran, then split payment up & apply to primary provider, then re-click the cc that was unclicked in order for you to be able to do another transaction for the next patient that wants to make a payment.                             • we are having an issue with the dentrix kiosk not staying logged into the app between patients . extremely inefficient !! Please resolve

                              kiosk does not stay logged in between patients and it will not store the username and password , which is apparently a known problem (article # 90674). Please resolve this issue ! It makes the front office's ability to do paperless documents untimely and ineffective !

                              • Debit card transactions don't get processed as debit unless you swipe the card

                                Currently with the Ingenico ipp320 you can not process a transaction as debit unless you swipe the card. Dipping the card chip and selecting credit will bypass the pin entry and will process the debit card as a more expensive credit card transaction instead. Selecting debit on the pin will prompt to SWIPE the card even if it has a chip, and the pad will prompt the user for a pin.This must be fixed so that chipped debit cards can be inserted to gain full use of the security provided by EMV chips.

                                • Dentrix G7 resets folder permissions daily, breaking backups

                                  I support several endodontic/dental practices in the Tampa Bay area and my first client upgrade to G7 was soured by this problem. My backups of the entire D: drive holding Dentrix were failing after upgrading to G7 with a permissions error on the "D:\Dentrix\Server Files" folder. When I manually enable inheritance on the folder the backup works, then the next day it failed again. It appears the 2AM scheduled task for MkDbCopy.exe includes a "SetStandardPermissions.Classes.dll" file and function which resets permissions back when run. To work-around this issue I'm making a task scheduled after MkDbCopy to run "icacls.exe "D:\DENTRIX\Server Files"…

                                        • Have the edi message pop up for each claim instead of print!

                                          It is a waste to have an approval print everytime! Tracker has it pop up and stores the response in each claim.
