  4. Add Multiple Medications

    Looking at the other ideas mine is probably similar to others but it would save so much time if we were able to add multiple medications to a patient's health history list instead of entering them one at a time. If we could just check a box next to all the medications a patient is currently using and then add them all at once that would be awesome! I just end up typing "see document center" and scanning a copy of a patient's meds into their chart that way.

  5. After recent update cached files are not being cleaned up by Dentrix.

    Files are being permanently cached in the hidden C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files folder, it appears to be a referral letter produced by Dentrix. THis is filling up the harddrive for local computers and must be cleared out manually. Considering this was not a problem before the last update and is now a problem we believe something is broken. Contacting Dentrix support did no good, we were told this is "hard-coded into the software and nothing has changed".

    Well, we think it has or this would have been an issue before now. But please review and let us know if you can…

    Insurance payments that are paid by credit card need to allow for multiple patients paid under the same credit card #. Right now when you select Credit Card as the option of insurance payment, it has us put in the last 4 digits of the credit card #. However, when insurance companies include more than one patient payment under one credit card # (As they do with check payments) the field to enter the last 4 digits of the Credit Card # only allows 4 numbers and does not allow any letter input into those fields to help distinguish.   9. Fix the port conflict to allow the use of Windows Server Essentials.

    Please fix the port conflict to allow the use of Windows Server Essentials which is better suited to the typical dental practice and much less expensive.
    Not to mention easier to deploy and maintain. Maybe with the IT money saved more Dentrix services may be purchased.

  10. Bring back clinical note opening while claim is open.

    The G7 update deleted the ability to open clinical notes while in progress claim is open. Claim windows need to be closed, open clinical notes then reopen claim.

  11. *EXISTING OPEN DOOR TO EMBEZZLEMENT!* Password edit/modify will allow fee changes

    In ledger we use completed procedures to add a note "why a cancelled or broke appointment", this function also would allow any fee change prior to being set complete without having to be over-ridden. Likewise, also in ledger, any payment edit note (to mark/change as OTC or A/R). And in clinical charting an edit (EO or TP or C) also would allow fee changes prior to set complete. Audit trail reports are great after-the-fact but as we see it THESE ARE ALL OPEN DOORS FOR EMBEZELMENT and require an immediate answer/resolution. We hope that there may be other fail-safes that…

  12. WE are interested in an daily organizer. A daily pop up of items that need to be taken care of that day.

    A pop up organizer that would remind you of daily items to be done. For example- If a patient needed Premed 6 months down the road called in we would pick the date needed and add that the patient needed an RX called into the pharmacy.

    We have a patient who is missing #28. #27 is in #28's spot. We need to leave #R where is it in the tooth chart. We are unable to change #28 to #27.

  15. There should be an option of making the medical alert show up on the appointment.

    when putting in a note, we dont always want the alert to show up on the appointment. example, if the pt has no medical history and is healthy. we put a note in saying the pt. is healthy and the date the health history was updated. but we dont want the alert to show up on the appointment.

  17. Dentrix Mobile Needs Patient Financial Info

    Dentrix Mobile Needs Patient Financial Info, along with other very important data. Another user posted something similar requesting additional info from the database accessible in Dentrix Mobile. We find Dentrix Mobile rather useless without more data. Deadbeat patients who have huge debts never show up on the (Dentrix Mobile) radar unless we remote in to our office and access a workstation.

  18. Please send an alert or notice when E-Services are NOT working properly.

    Please send an alert or some type of notice when there are issues with services being disrupted. We have had a few patients (and occasionally staff members) who cannot do their forms, or do other necessary tasks, online or in the office and this causes delays/frustrations throughout the day.

  19. Billing statements

    When viewing billing statements, if primary insurance has paid there portion and the patient has secondary insurance and has been billed but not paid on, please provide secondary insurance information so we know not to send the statement because secondary has paid on the claim yet.

  20. Premium Members

    When premium members require technical assistance, those inquiries should be directed ONLY to a stateside representative. It is very frustrating to be placed on hold when a foreign customer service representative can barely speak English and is learning the answer to your question while you wait. Then when they finally return to your call and tell you it takes time to reach a supervisor, more time is taken from your work day. Because premium members pay more for technical support, I believe we should go direct to an American representative.
