  1. Time Clock

    I would like to have a place where I can place my employees Paid Time off and as I entered their requested PTO it will show a running total of how much time they have left and have record of when they used their PTO.

  2. Using Bio-metric for Time clock

    Dentrix is supposed to work for large and multi office owned by the same owner.
    To prevent employees to clock in and out for each other these could be done by finger prints reader.

  4. Time sheet setup

    I would like for the time sheet to show regular hours and overtime hours separately. The totals would show regular hours and overtime hours. I believe right now it is setup to show overtime rate, but I would just want it to show me overtime hours. For example an employee worked total regular hours of 70.11 and overtime hours of 2.44. This would be extremely helpful to enter for our payroll system.

  5. Time Clock

    Would be very useful if the time clock could break down regular accrued hours and overtime hours worked. Not just earnings.

  6. Average hours worked report

    There is a way to print out a report with total hours worked per person. It would be helpful to have a way to get a report with average hours worked as we need that data to calculate PTO. thank you.

  8. Time Clock Restriction

    Can you add a feature which allows only the admin to edit clock in times and clock out times. I need my employees to have access to Dentrix without passwords but the time clock feature only I should be able to edit.

  10. Set time limits for clocking in & clocking out. For example employees should not be allowed to clock in before 7:50 am & out after 5:15

    Set time limits for clocking in & clocking out. For example employees should not be allowed to clock in before 7:50 am & out after 5:15 on a normal 8-5 work day. I think Timeclock is very hard to use as an administrator. It doesnt track any vacation time or PTO either.

  11. Customizing time clock

    It'd be awesome to allow setup for each staff member in regards to their hours. We have some team members that do 5 8's and others that do 4 10's. We'd like to pull one report that shows regular vs. OT. It'd also be great to show paid vs. unpaid leave.

    We are thinking about using your time clock feature but found that we can't just log in or out. Every employee has to bring the time clock up every time. Other systems allow time clock to sit in the backround and employees are able to log in and out easily. Why not here? And, is it true that employees can adjust their punch in and out times? I hope not because that is why we are considering using this feature

    Hello!
    Our time clock feature permissions can be customized so that your users don’t have the ability to edit punches or notes. You can see and configure those settings per user in the Office Manager > Maintenance > Practice Setup > Passwords > User Passwords Setup, then select the desired time clock permissions.

  15. I would like the ability to have the time records exported in a CVS File for our payroll company

    I would like the ability to upload our Time Clock to our payroll service using a CSV File.

    I would like to create and export a CSV file at the end of each pay period... that I could upload into our Payroll Services Portal.

  16. Time clock start and end control.

    That we have the ability to set the time clock start time so an employee cannot clock in early and an ending time so they cannot get overtime.

    Auto time for days of the week. This way it can match your office hours that aren't the same everyday.

  18. need to be able to print out weekly payroll hours for 2016 for employees as requested by Dept of Labor.

    Create options to list per week worked hours, for any length of time such as 6 mths for individual employee.
    This was requested by dept of labor for audit to see if we are compliant with Labor laws.

    Right now I have to manual assemble each week's total onto an Excel page and it is very time consuming and difficult.

    I think I understand, you’re specifically looking for the payroll report (or another report) that will automatically break down the hours each individual received into predetermined groups, such as weekly or bi-weekly?

    That makes sense – I’ll open this idea back up, and ensure that it’s properly documented.

  19. we get paid bi weekly - so I the screen to reflect the pay weeks we are currently in.

    Allow the office to select their pay weeks so the history screen reflects the actual weeks that we get paid.
