Track insurance benefit used elsewhere
It would be helpful to be reminded that the patient has used an insurance benefit elsewhere (previous g.p., specialists, etc.) and the ability to subtract it from remaining benefit as soon as it is known.

Does the feature described below resolve your request, or is there something additional or different behavior that you are looking for?
For Dentrix G4 & newer:
1. Open the patient’s Family File.
2. Double-click on the Insurance box.
3. Under the appropriate insurance plan (primary or secondary), click the Deductibles button to enter used benefits or met deductible amounts.
4. Change the Deductibles Met or Benefits Applied.
If you are using a previous version (Dentrix G3 or earlier), visit the Resource Center and search for article 35509 for instructions. (www.dentrix.com/resource-center).
