How can we improve Dentrix?

e-mail quick letters

It really is silly that to e-mail quick letters to a patient you have to either cut and paste the letter into the e-mail box from dentrix or copy and paste the e-mail in MS Word when sending. there should be a option of sending directly.

This would be a great help, we e-mail statements to people upon their request, the only way to do that now is to print statement, scan into pt.document center and e-mail from there.

Try this. Use the Send to Dentrix Document Center print driver to keep a copy of the letter in the patient's Doc Center and then email it out from the Document Center. The Description of the Doc Information window will act as the subject line of your email and then the note field is the body of your email and the actual document (your letter) is a pdf attachment. Works quite well.
