Clinical Notes Font Size, Styles, Colors
It would be very helpful if the clinical notes could allow certain text to be bold, italics, and/or a larger font. We are constantly duplicating information from clinical notes into Patient Alerts so that it is more apparent in the future. We also use lots of CAPITALS and ****** to bring attention to information in clinical notes. A simple rich text editor in there would be a really helpful addition.
We appreciate your feedback, thanks.

Obviously it is a problem in Dentrix online also! a capital "i" looks like a lowercase "L" !!!

We would like to have a Bold and underline and highlight on the clinical notes so that we can quickly see what we want to do next. We are anticipating being paperless.

It would be great if the clinical notes could be different colors. Red for hyg. Black for admin, and blue for dr. notes. (Our office did this in the paper chart) Makes it easy to follow.

We need to be able to change fonts in ledger and in family file window. As some of us age and look at a screen all day, the thin small font that is there now is hard to view sometimes. If we could just make it bold it would help. I realize we can change some of this in windows, but I need to see as much information, clearly, in the most space possible. thanks

I shadowed at the INSIGHT SEMINAR yesterday in NY. An attendee suggested being able to change fonts, colors etc just like in WORD.

Yes, this would be great if we could change colors. Maybe hyg, could be one color, medical alerts could be another color, progress notes, yet another color. It would save having to read all the way through the notes looking for something specific.

We would like to have color changes for text in clinical notes. Such as green for hygiene appointments.

Yes..I have to do the same to make things standout (CAPS, ****, etc..). Some things really need to be eye-catching.

color choices are a GREAT idea. When we used paper progress notes, Hygiene notes were in GREEN, Operative Notes were in BLUE, Administrative notes were in RED. The best idea is to have this fully customizable and perhaps have the ability to tie to specific logons, such as HYG1 or FO01 (Front Office 01) for example.

Would like the option of having color choices for each entry - such as red to indicate "no show" or late arrivals; purple to indicate miscellaneous personal information. etc.

Clinical notes needs to be completly easy to customize. This includes the text size and color. PLUS; the date that shows to the lefthand side of the notes needs to be easy to customize, (diferent colors used for hygiene vs doctors), this would make it easy to see which notes to open up if you are looking for something specific.

we'd like to be able to change 'type' color to red so that in the clinical notes when can type in red when the patient is a NO SHOW or arrives late or cancels short notice.
