How can we improve Dentrix?

Quick Letters automatically copy into Document Center

When we create letters using “Dentrix Quick Letters” to send it to patients reminding treatment plan or sending them to collections and so forth, there is a journal entry added to patient chart. I don’t see a reason why a copy of the letter can be included in the document center so that the copy of the letter is available for quick reference when the staff needs them.

        I agree that it takes many steps to get the document to the correct patient. If you open a quick letter while in the patient document center or even on the patient family file if you print the document to the document center it should go to that patients doc center without it having to be aquired from the unfiled documents.

        I think it would be a great idea for this to happen automatically! the fewer steps we have to take to accomplish a task, the better. I'd love to see the ability to have 'fillable' word documents or pdf files in quick letters. currently the system will not recognize anything other than a simple .doc file.

        The biggest issue with the Doc center is certainly the number of steps required to get routine communications saved in the right place. Printing twice, filing unfiled docs... it should be possible to launch a doc or email from within its intended destination (say the communication folder within a pt doc center) and have it saved there
