Document Center - "Expand All" as default display
When we open the document center, I think all documents under that particular patient should be automatically open without having to click the +icon under the patient image. There are two additional steps to access a particular document. With the way the document center is designed and having plenty of space, there is no reason for a tree and all documents should be displayed when the document center opens with the categories and subcategories for easy access with NO ADDITIONAL CLICKS.

I almost forgot what a pain in the butt this is, But it really is. This should also apply in the clinical notes. I want "expand all" as the default

Marianna, you can save your Filters as a default. (View | Filters | check "Save as Default") However, the way it works currently is that the view does reset (expanded folders collapse, etc) when you change patients or close / reopen

Also, I want to be able to save the document view preferences that I set up. Right now I have to adjust the view everytime I open a document in the doc center. Am I missing something?

Ryan, If the module opened with "Expand All" default that would satisfy our office's request. Thanks

There are "Expand All" and "Collapse All" buttons. It sounds as if the module opened with "Expand All" selected, that would satisfy the request.

I think Dentrix did not think about this when they designed the document center. It should be an easy fix. Great feature everyone would love.
