Display Patients Age in more Moduels
Since Ins Co. only cover some procedures to a certain age it would be helpful to be able to view the patients age while in the patient chart, treatment planner, etc instead of having to go into the Family File.

I agree with the suggestions of age limitation / restriction being automatically calcuated by computer!!! Of course, it would really help if there was another box created in the insurance benefits that show a lifetime max for orthodontics. I cannot believe they haven't tought of that. The ledger amounts on what patient owe is always messed up because it calculates the ortho benefits from the yearly max and cannot be overwritten.....

I agree, Theresa. It helps to know the age of patients but it would be particularly helpful to know if their insurance has some benefits that are restricted by age.

I think it should be taken one step further than that. I think there should be a place in the family file when we're setting up the insurance information that we can put the age restrictions and limitations specific to each plan. This would help our Business Assistants avoid the issues altogether. If the computer could calculate that already, we don't have to worry about presenting a treatment plan incorrectly.
