Make completing a patient visit more automated. Have more options for Fast Checkout and have it available from the Chart and Appointment Book (Set Appointment Complete), Treatment Planner and Family File; and still available from the Ledger. Each module should have its own Fast Checkout options, or the options should be shared among all modules per workstation, or the entire practice. Options could be : when an appointment is set complete, launch the Ledger for the patient automatically; from the Chart set all scheduled procedures complete; set appointments complete from the Chart; update continuing care from any module; set the patient's lab case as finished; a "Visit Complete" option from any module to include Appointment Complete options, Ledger Fast Checkout options, and additional options; enter payment, create insurance claims, generate walkout statements, and set the appointment complete from the Chart. Need to be flexible with what is automated from the Chart, Ledger and Appointment Book for a patient visit, using features from all of the modules in the other modules as applicable. From the Ledger or Chart bring up a list of appointment procedures to post from and complete the appointment at the same time, and allow to schedule the next continuing care appointment. Have the Fast Checkout Option set the appointment complete .
