  The archived box needs to show up on ALL select patient boxes - if i am not mistaken it only now shows up if you go to selecting a patient under the family file only

  The issue for our office isn't the "new" vs. the "old". The issue is the speed. If there are significant improvements in search capability that are only present with the new interface, that is fine. But the current version is unacceptably slow. My understanding is that the real issue isn't the interface but rather the underlying database structure. If that is the case, we need the new structure launched simultaneously with any new functionality that requires it for speed.

  ADDITIONALLY, when the Family File module is launched after having selected a patient name in other modules, that same patient is already selected and his/her data populates the dialog window. If no patient was selected (e.g. from the Office Manager module after printing a report for instance), the Family File dialog windows displays empty. This forces me to find and click on the patient selection button to open the patient selection dialog box--A completely unnecessary step and a significant cumulative waste of time. ***If no patient was previously selected and the Family File module is launched, then the Patient Selection dialog box should automatically display by default--since that is ALWAYS the next step that will be taken by every office every single time.

  Please don't change the select patient box from the old one!!1 The new one is excruciatingly slow.

  also, have it update in real time as each letter/number has been entered into the search box...and if the search type is changed (mobile, first name, last name, etc.)...do NOT delete the information already entered into the search box please...

  The F2 key is wonderful option instead of the select patient and you don't have to search for a button. Usable in all modules excpet Appt Book.

  It is a great asset but it is a bit on the slow side compared to the original find patient, I find it's quicker going back to the family file/ledger to look up a patient and then clicking back to the chart

  We were so relieved when we realized we could use the simple select patient option in the chart and document center, since the new Select Patient option takes so long. Please don't eliminate the simple select patient!

  I agree with this suggestion but it would be nice to be able to choose whether you want the old select patient box or the new one as we currently can in the chart. Can we have this option in the family file as well please?
