Automate archiving and inactivating patients
Allow the user to archive or inactivate multiple patients at one time, according to specific parameters. For example: by billing type, by primary provider, by insurance plan, by last visit date, etc. Should list patients first for the user to remove any from the list to be archived or inactivated.
Thanks for the feedback.

With over 6,000 patients to archive this would be helpful!

It would be really cool if we could archive certain patients using something similar to report filters. The one at a time thing is really time consuming

I'd like a way to archive all patients before a certain date and clean up the data base that way.

Also would like to view patient ledger without having to reactivate patient... keep them archived and be able to see when they were last in etc... And I agree that auto archiving could be messy but would like it to clear out continuing care etc, that would be nice

I love this suggestion, but I see a couple of issues for auto-archiving when the patient has other family members. Sometimes the other family members are non-patients, listed only for insurance or billing reasons (in which case they should be archived too, but wouldn't show up as inactive patients), and sometimes the other famiy members are active patients who should not be archived. Also you can only archive a H-of-H if all other family members are archived. Auto-inactivating, however, seems like it would be do-able.

This would be great. Also if they are inactivated, clear any continuing care status, empoyer and insurance information if balance is zero so we can start fresh if the patient returns
