Allow general color coding for the various labs in the lab set up (or allow a logo or picture to be uploaded in the lab set up to help identify the lab). It would be extremely helpful to instantly identify which lab is being used if there was a color code printed on the lab slip or a logo printed on the lab slip. We keep a physical lab slip with the impressions or case until the lab either comes to pick up the case or until the case is completely ready to be sent. Using color coding or logos will quickly help the doctors and assistants identify which cases are going to which labs. Currently the lab prescriptions all print out exactly the same (regardless of which lab it might be) and the prescriptions only have the size 12 font to identify which lab and which patient. We keep our lab cases on a shelf in the office, so the assistant has to get on a step ladder and get close to see which cases are which because the font is not large enough to be easily read at 5ft +. The easier it is to quickly identify the lab prescriptions, the easier and faster service we can provide to our patients.
