Automatically Send to Document Center
The document center can be more robust. A nice feature to add would be a checkbox that whenever you print something from within Dentrix (treatment plan, statements, walkouts, etc), you have the option to add a copy to the document center without having to reprint using the Dentrix Printer Driver.

If you print to the batch processor, instead of just hitting the print icon, choose the print preview icon. This will open the document in the print preview window and you can choose file, then print and the print dialogue box will open allowing you to select the Dentrix Document center as your destination.

Dentrix G4.7 added an option to allow printing of certain reports (just statements I think) to auto print to the document center as you are requesting. Open Office Manager | Maintenance | Practice Setup | Preferences | Print Options, and check the box next to 'Copy Billing Statements to Document Center'.

This is a efficient, fantastic idea. It would be great to see all explaination of benefits go directly into the document center! This helps us to be more efficient!

Yes, this is a big problem. When I print a statement for a patient, it does not automatically go into the doc center. I have to swith the printer driver to Dentrix driver each time. This is a hige drag and takes a lot of time when you are doing this many times a day.

Yes, this is essential. Right now if I print to the document center, I have to go back in an manually drag the document into document center for that patient. It is a real pain in the a..! I want to be able to click on a check box to exlude a document from the document center, since I want to include most if not all documents that correspond to that patient in the document center.

Yes, it's a drag to have to print to batch and then change printer to print to doc center everytime and then back and then dragging document into document center. Way too many steps are required now.
