  1. power pay

    PLEASE GIVE OPTION TO AUTOMATICALLY PROCESS DUE POWER PAY CONSENTS! I have trouble getting time to go into power pay every day to review and process due consents. Then, I get behind and the patients payment isn't processed and that get's the payment plan off and everyone is unhappy, front desk, patient and doctor. It's 2017, this shouldn't be that difficult. So frustrating!

    • Add a fee schedule utilization report

      Some schedules that we receive and input into Dentrix are rarely used, if ever. Some plans cease to exist, and notification of that is not always received at the offices. It would be great if we could see how often a schedule was used within settable dates.

          • Remove balances from the patient ledger once they have been placed in a pay arrangement

            We offer payment plans/ pay arrangements to our patients. If a patient has set up a pay arrangement, whether for treatment they are about to begin or even for previous acct balances, we would like that total agreed amount to be removed from the patient ledger and only be reflected in the "Payment Agreement Summary" or the "Future Due Payment Plan". This will help keep better track of true current balances due vs balances due that have already been placed in a pay agreement.               When running a referral by patient or doctor/other report add a feature where it can be broken down month by month. For example if I want to see what my referral sources for the last year were, I also would like to know the number per month without having to either manually add it from the report or running a separate report for each month

                Why can't you use words instead of silly icons. Since there is no universal icon alphabet, one must guess what these symbols mean. This is not very productive. Words work better.

                If you think this is a bad idea, try to ask your boss for a raise using only icons.

                  We should be able to go in and edit Case Status Updates. If we make an error we cannot go back and fix it. You end up with a treatment case that looks like a mess with entries necessary to correct any errors.

                    I need to create a letter that I am able to populate sections of the letter differently such as: "Reason for referral" -then a choice of 3 different answers to populate under that heading, then "Significant Findings" - then a choice of 8 different answers to populate under that heading and so on- can you tell me where in Dentrix I can do this or a solution to have the same type of outcome so the doctor doesn't have to produce the letter uniquely for each patient?

                      The closest thing we have for this is in the Dentrix Letters and Lists module, there’s a detailed write-up on how to create a custom letter on the resource center, just search for article #80397 on the resource center. (www.dentrix.com/resource-center) Alternately, you could contact our support team for assistance with setting up a new letter.

                      If the letters/lists module does’t accomplish this task, let me know and I’ll make sure that this idea is properly documented.

                    • Enter city and zip code without State

                      Is that possible to enter zip code and city without State? An unusual case is the patient doesn't want to show State on his address, and I can't enter zip code and city without entering State. Thank you

                      • Procedure order within insurance claims

                        I know that sorting can be tricky when it comes to software, but something really should be done about this issue. I don't know what it is about Dentrix, but it doesn't seem to be built upon rules or algorithms in certain instances.

                        This is very evident when it comes to how procedures get sorted within a claim. For some reason, Dentrix cannot seem to sort the procedures within a claim in the same order each time based on a set of criteria. I don't care if it chooses ADA code, tooth number...whatever, it should be able to order/sort things…

                        • When Insurance eligibility report is ran can the breakdown please be saved in the Doc Center?

                                • Need $0.00 insurance payments split to correct provider. It is currently defaulting to primary provider. Needs to reflect correct provider

                                  When entering a $0.00 payment through an insurance claim when posted to the ledger it always defaults to the patient's primary doctor provider, when the patient actually saw a hygiene provider. We need the ledger to reflect that the hygienist received the $0.00 payment not the doctor.

                                      whenever a claim is created there is a section that automatically puts the "referred to" doctors name if there is a procedure in the chart for that referral, this MUST be corrected since the visit does NOT apply to the "referred to" procedure
