    • Cross over tool for appointment book

      it would be nice to have a tool to mark on the appointment book for cross over patients. going from one room to another.

      • We need to be able to change the phone #s that are displayed on the daysheet to cell #s. no one has a home phone anymore.

        The Day Sheet shows patients home # BUT it needs to show their cell#s. No one has a home number and if they do they do not use it!

        • Customize Route Slips & Patient Visit Forms

          We should be able to REALLY customize the Route Slips and Patient Visit Forms! I work in a dental office and feel that the Route Slips give too much information, but the Patient Visit forms just don't give enough. I like certain information boxes from each form, but we are not given the ability to mix and match the forms.

          In our office we need something simple, but that gives detailed information about that days visit. (Procedure, Procedure code, Description, Cost - Patient Name, DOB - But still a blank space that the clinical team is able to write notes…

          • PowerPay changes in G6.4 are a ledger disaster

            I cannot believe the recent changes to PowerPay payments in the ledger in G6.4. The fact that PowerPay payment amounts cannot be altered is highly defeating. First, this is inconsistent in regards to the workflow compared to other payment types (cash, check, credit cards outside of PowerPay) that aren't in history. In all of those cases, you can play around and change the amounts.

            This is needed because there are times when you want to change the allocations on split payments, and there are times when you want to override what Dentrix is forcing you to do. But nope, this…

              Dr. Kapner,

              I spoke with our development team, and after a bit of deliberation and discovery, the team has agreed that this change was unintentionally affecting the ability to modify PowerPay payments through Dentrix. And have decided to reverse this change in our Q4 2017 release, which is currently in development.

              • Most offices have a membership plan for patients. Would like a way to set it up in Dentrix with multiple renewal dates

                We have a membership plan for patients with no insurance. Feel that Dentrix should have a way to post it in computer as a membership plan instead of insurance as we have been doing. Need to be able to have multiple different renewal dates.

                • A quick button two move the questionnaires into the Document Center

                  We are a paperless office. Through the kiosk we do all of our updates on the Ipad, from there it is send to the Questionnaire area in Dentrix, . It would be great if we could have a quick button to transfer that data to our document center. (For example when you are doing eligible with Dentrix. There is a button to Add to patient's Document center.) I know there is a way to do this that takes many steps. I don't have time for all that. I would a way to do this that saves time and paper.

                    A nice improvement would be an optional flag, to warn if I schedule a cleaning appointment prior to 6 months. Sometimes people will call for their appointment as soon as they get the postcard, and I'll accidentally schedule the cleaning too soon. It's awful to not get paid because it's too soon.

                      If there is a balance (anything over 0.00) instead of it being colored black like everything else in the family file - it would stand out better if it was bold/colored red like the past due Cont. Care.

                      • Add "Next Visit" to the family file.

                        First visit and consent seem to be the same date for most practices. The screen allows for consent date,m first visit date (one of those really oughta be enough) and then of course last visit. It would be lovely for it to say NEXT VISIT right there as well. I can't be the only one that thinks this

                          First Consent and First Visit aren’t always the same, and some users appreciate being able to track each one independently. However, I do think that tracking the next visit is a good idea, and we appreciate the feedback given, I’ve edited the title to reflect this. Going forward, lets try and keep idea submissions more professional.

                          Solution Reach allowed us to send out mass texts to our patients in need of a cleaning or who were waiting to get in with a specialist. It was very helpful and gave us the opportunity to fill our schedule fast.

                              We have maximized our providers and are no longer able to add new providers. To make room for new providers, we would like to be able to archive deceased or inactive providers.

                                This is definetly a valid request, and it’s an understandable pain point.

                                I’d like to recommend you contact our support team though, they do have the ability to change Provider ID’s, which could potentially allow you to re-use some of the provider ID’s that weren’t used very much.

                                Either way, I’ll make sure this is documented.

                              • Make bulk eEOB's easier to navigate and utilize

                                Make it so that when you have a bulk payment eEOB, you can click on an individual patients name and it will bring you to that patients eob, instead of having to scroll through pages of patients looking for one particular payment. Right now if you click the patients name from the list, it brings up a blank screen. Also, make it possible to attach just the specific patient's portion of a bulk eob when attaching it to a secondary claim.

                                • Tracking cancelled/deleted appointments

                                  Other than the "history" option in the appointment view, there should be a way (in the family file?) to track scheduling/rescheduling of appointments, including deleted appointments and also a possible "reason for cancel" as well. We had a minor come in the office, but mom cancelled the appointment. The appointment was deleted instead of broken so there was no way of tracking anything. The mother claimed she did not cancel this appointment and there was no way (to our knowledge) of resolving this. This also comes in handy for patients who have a long history of cancelling/rescheduling/no-showing. This would be…

                                    I have several continuing care types that will no longer be used in our office because CC was not set up correctly with previous office manager. It would be much easier to delete these unused CC types if there were a purge option in the CC temporary view.

                                      To save time in entering a patient alert, it would be nice if there was a choice of pre-set descriptions that you could assign set areas to display the alert. So when you choose that description, the areas to display are attached to it and automatically highlight. For example, COLLECTION (description) would display in family file, ledger and create an apt, which you would have pre-set for any patient in collection.

                                        When setting any appointment complete there should be a pop up asking if you would like to re-appoint the patient. Similar to continuing care appointments. That way it eliminates a few steps in a busy front desk setting. Thank you
