patient visit forms
I was checking out the Customizable Patient Visit Froms today and noticed that the treatment plan at the bottom of the page is not correct. It is not taking into account the insurance and shows that the patient portion is the total treatment amount.

Disallow Patient Archive when Appointments exist
Don't allow archive unless no appointments on the book.

Automatically Update Medical Alerts (do not require user to select 'Update Patient Information')
Medical Alerts need to automatically update when changed on a questionnarie form.

Clinical Note Templates - Lock / Protect from deletion
I would like to be able to lock or password protect the clinical note templates in order to avoid any possible (accidental) deletion of these important files.

Buttons and interface need to be friendlier for touch interface
Everything is going "touch" and tablets are the future of computing. The current buttons are too small and the older style toolbars were more easy to set up by adding spacing and customize which buttons are displayed. Although the buttons are nicer looking on newer modules, Dentrix has gone backwards in the ability to customize these toolbars. Other dental software developers are going this route and Dentrix needs to pick it up here.

document center view note
Would like to view any notes that is pertaining to a document in the menu screen instead of having to "edit" the document to view the note.

Daily Huddle Report - Amount of TX accepted
Amount of TX accepted should be based on TX Planned procedures that become scheduled that day. Should not be based on going into TX planner and marking a case as accepted. It's not necessary to do so for one case, it's quicker and simpler to schedule in the Appt. Book. Please modify the criteria for the TX Accepted field on the Daily Huddle Report to reflect ANY tx planned procedure that becomes Scheduled that day. Thank you!

Daily Huddle Report - Scheduled Patient Summary, add a Prov column
On the scheduled patients summary, please add a field that reflects provider. For this report to actually be a useful tool in a huddle meeting, knowing the provider allows for everyone to review without having to flip back and forth to the appointment book. Thank you!

progress notes
When u enter a procedure in the tooth chart using the icons, u have EX and EO at the top BUT at the bottom in the Progress Notes, dentrix groups the existing together.The Dr wants to see what he did-EX all the time BUT not what another Dr did-EO.

Allow patients to Reply to text
Patient should be able to respond to the text messages sent to them for review of the office personal.

Need communication box viewable on top of all other programs, that will help with routing of docs.
We currently use a program (softcom) that has a box which remains open on top of all other programs, that we use to communicate to the docs which room anesthesia is needed in or which patient is ready to begin tx on, etc. If they are going over info in a chart, they don't always see appt book changes that are made. This box helps us communicate to them regardless of what they are in the middle of doing because it stays on top of everything else (small box on top of screen). appointment book color coded indicators
I would like to see color coded symbols on the appointment book for things like N2O pt, alternates with periodontist, special needs pt, etc...

Appointment hover option to show driver's license number.
Have an option on the appointment hover window to show driver's license number. Or even better-show insurance subscriber ID #. Thank you

Allow the option to skip over form
After signing in at the kiosk, allow patients to skip over the entire form if no changes have been made in their health, medical or dental insurances. Then if any changes have been made, allow them to click yes bringing the next page up for them to fill out any changes.

Treatment Plan letter - only for Unscheduled TX
Would like the ability to specify within a letter merge to only pull unscheduled treatment planned items, not just treatment planned items.

PRESCRIPTION COUNTERFEIT PROOF
FYI
The state of Florida will require all medical/dental practitioners to write prescriptions on counterfeit proof pads now effective July 1, 2011. Prescriptions generated by computer programs are out. Electronic submissions will probably be approved. HB 70951 vote -
