  1. Check for patient duplicates before adding new patient

    When you fill out the "Enter New Patient Information" fields and press "OK", it would be nice for Dentrix to check the fields with existing patient information in the database. If it finds a duplicate, or even 75-80% similar, it will ASK if we are sure we want to create that new patient, just in case the new patient is an existing patient's son that has the same name and address. This will prevent adding any duplicate patients and would make life A LOT easier. Thank you!

  2. Medication List in Health History

    In the Health History, it is nice that you separated the Medical conditions and allergies, but we need an additional area for Medications.

  3. Texting

    There should be a way to text a patient directly from the appointment view rather than having to click 5 different things prior to being able to text them. You can use the phone directly from the appointment book view, texting with a right click would be a great feature

    Can you make a special square like the medical alert button. Like a little pill or something to notate premed.

  5. auto changing the apt status to red if pt is not here on time

    Make the apt status to auto change to red if pt is not marked here or in the chair at their scheduled time.

  6. Birthdate in new appointment window

    its is very important to get birthdate for a pt when new appt is made, i am surprised that this is not advised before , nor the requirements team or testing team has pointed or its in the list. whatever that feature is very important

  7. Mark appt for pre med different

    Pre med's are included in medical alerts but don't need the attention that pre meds do for appointments. We have to look at all alerts when only need to call about pre meds.

  8. Providers to be changed when set complete with provider scheduled even if treatment is planned under a differnt provider.

    We have four doctors and this is time consuming and inaccurate to have the treatment not automatically change to the scheduled provider. We have 4 doctors, this is very time consuming. We'd rather have the old version back. This is inefficient.... we're going backwards guys! if we can change the provider for the treatment plan... one click by highlighting instead one procedure at a time, should have been included in the update. This was poorly though through. Managemnet does not thank you.

  9. I hate your limit on procedures. When we do extractions and immediate dentures we typically do more than 20 procedures at a time.

    I hate your limit on procedures in the appointment book. You can only schedule 20 procedures in one appointment. When we do extractions and dentures we typically do more than 20 procedures at one time. When I schedule the patient I have to make more than one appointment jto include all the procedures we are doing. This sometimes is confusing. Why have a limit on procedures we can schedule for one patient. Who decided a doctor could only do 20 procedures at a setting. Please please fix this.

  10. Completing appointment without Clinical Note

    We should NOT be able to "gray out" or complete the appointment on Appointment Book View if 1) insurance has not been batched for the day and 2) if No clinical note was signed.

  11. When making appointments, the staff tab should be defaulted to the person who has logged in.

    The staff should not need to have an extra click every time an appointment is made to denote who is making the appointment.

  12. Adding the doctor to Hygiene Appointment

    It would be great to show which provider the patient is assigned to on they hygiene appt. So in the Appointment Display Info, there should be an option to show provider that matches what's in the Family File instead of which provider they are scheduled with. We can see that with the colors assigned to each provider.

  13. Broken Appts

    Broken Appt triggers secondary window
    1 pinboard or add to unscheduled list
    2. default with fee with option to delete the fee
    3 categorize the time given by pt eg, No Show, Day Before or Day of
    4. categorize the provided of the appt (RDH or Dr)
    5. Track broken appts so I can request upcoming weeks pts that are "High Cncl" pts

  14. Increase Number of Operatory Views

    Our office is large, we have 6 hygienists and each has 2 columns, we REALLY NEED TO VIEW ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!!! PLEASE HELP US!!!!

  16. Allow the pinboarded appointments to have the same color assigned to Provider

    When multiple appointments are on the pinboard, it would be helpful if they were the same color as the color assigned to the provider that they had been originally scheduled with so you could pick them out easier when rescheduling. Our providers are all identified by a specific color and this would make a huge difference! Right now, they're all the same. (Yellowish)

  17. We've recently started using Recall Max and all of the automatic notes that go into the appointments regarding e-mails/texts/confirmations,

    We've recently started using Recall Max and all of the automatic notes that go into the individual patient appointments in the Appointment Book regarding e-mails/texts/confirmations, etc. are printing on our Patient Visit Forms. Other than deleting these "nice to know" details/notes from the appointment prior to printing the forms, is there a way to customize this part of the information printed? Perhaps add another customizable check-box in the Patient Visit Form settings to choose whether we want the Appointment Notes to print??

  18. Stop the pop up boxes

    Allow us to stop the pop up boxes. For example - I KNOW when I am scheduling the Dr. over lunch. Deleting all those Those pop-up boxes are a waste of time. Allow us to turn them off!!

  19. Make it so that if you make a change to a scheduled appt. it doesn't change the provider

    when scheduling an appt if your ops are assigned the provider would come up automatically

  20. Carry customization of Dentrix to upgrades

    When upgrading Dentrix Versions, can the customization in all modules be carried to the new version, eliminating the need to re-customize each work station. Such things as Appointment Book Views, Colors, Tool Bars... All are customizable to make Dentrix exactly what we want. Then it is all lost with the upgrade. Each Work station must have a file with the customizations - Can that be carried/upgraded to the new version on each work station.
