  1. Auto inactivate pts that have not been seen for several years.

    Im finding it very time consuming to have to comb through pts on my count. care list that have not been seen at the office sense 2014. It would be very useful to be able to auto inactivate pts we know are not returning to out office instead of manually inactivating each patient. OR we should be able to print a cont care report with an option to enter dates of pts who have been here within a certain time period.

    • Improve Text Reminders

      I tried to tailor the title of my suggestion but MyVoice kept auto-filling to "Improve Text Reminders"

      Dentrix started listing multiple appointment times that are on the same day in text reminders. The problem is that we routinely have an empty appointment 10 minutes early for patients who are routinely late. Also, we have patients come in early for xrays sometimes, then they see another provider. We would like to supress listing multiple appointment times in the text reminders, just listing the earliest as it used to do. Multiple times are confusing patients.

      • Allow for more than one CC type to be selected when running CC reports for patients "without CC"

        When selecting the option "Patients w/out CC" in the Continuing Care Report Setup screen, only two options are currently available: one type, or ALL. It would be really nice to be able to select more than one, but not ALL (ie: both PROPHY and PERIO to catch those patients who haven't been into hygiene yet)

            • After SRP completion, automatically establish Continuing Care as Perio Maintenance

              Is there a way to automatically set Perio Maintenance visits at a patients 'Continuing Care' (CC) option AFTER SRP has been completed?

              After SRP is completed we are having to go in and manually delete 'Prophy' continuing care and set that patients CC to Perio Maintenance (D4910)..

              IS there any way to do this? If so, how?

                It would be very helpful if the continuing care status had a date when status was changed. When looking at continuing care list it makes it known to whoever is contacting those patient when the last time they were contacted all in one spot. If I leave a message for the patient, I change the status and whoever is making calls for recall know when and if that patient needs to be called again just simply by the date of the status change.

                  • Allow Mass texts to be sent in communication manager to patients in need of a cleaning or that we have openings in our schedule today

                    Solution Reach allowed us to send out mass texts to our patients in need of a cleaning or who were waiting to get in with a specialist. It was very helpful and gave us the opportunity to fill our schedule fast.

                      Please add Mobile Number to reports. Most people today use this instead of home or office number. Saves time when trying to contact patients from printed list.

                      • update continuing care frequency to reflect by group, no individual

                        many groups are now allowing bitewings every 24 months rather than 12 months. Would like to set a group default that would give an alert at 24 months not 12 when due.

                            have the continuing care box on the routing slip show the prophy or perio maintenance not the first cc that is due.

                              When bringing up a continuing care list to print for recare calls, it would be nice to be able to select multiple continuing care types to print out together on one list, rather than having to choose one type, create list, print, go back in and choose another type, create list, print, choose another type, create list, print, etc..

                                Make it so if the check mark is marked on an appointment that all appts do not change and delete cc. Like if an appt today that has something from cc is done (bitewings) then it takes all out of the cc in 6 months. Once it's marked to update it should stay in there and update when a code is posted

                                • Cut off times for email and text reminders for early appointments should be adjustable by office!

                                  The current settings for the appointment confirmations are upsetting some of our patients. Our office offers early morning appointments as early as 7:00 a.m. and with the current settings our patients are getting their two hour reminders at 9:00 p.m. the night before their appointment. It would be nice to be able to customize the reminder parameters to fit each office's needs.

                                  • Continuing Care - unscheduled appt pop-up needs to have less information.

                                    When making an appointment for someone that has a broken appointment on the Unscheduled list, a pop-up comes up asking "would you like to view the patient's appt list?" When you say yes, the box that comes up is full of way too much information making it difficult to use. The only information needed in that box is what pertains to the broken appointment. We would be more likely to use it if it were less cluttered.

                                      You can customize which columns show on the new lists module, you can also customize and save a specific view for when you only need that specific information.

                                      I highly recommend you contact our support team for assistance with using the new lists module.

                                    • Purge option for continuing care

                                      I have several continuing care types that will no longer be used in our office because CC was not set up correctly with previous office manager. It would be much easier to delete these unused CC types if there were a purge option in the CC temporary view.

                                        • Have DENTRIX prompt to schedule continuing care for new patients after first pro visit

                                          Currently, when a new pt is scheduled for pro, DENTRIX does not ask to schedule a new CC appt after the very first appointment is set complete, as it does for "established pts". It takes extra time to create these appointments, and when you are trying to be as efficient with time as possible, every minute counts.

                                            This happens because the appointment is created as a “NP” appointment (the patient doesn’t exist in the database yet). As a workaround, you can open the appointment after the patient is added to the family file (before the appointment is completed) and re-select the “prophy” code from the initial reasons.
