Enhancement Requests
Do you have an idea for a new feature in Dentrix?
Welcome to MyVoice, the feedback site where you can enter, vote on, and view the status of requests from customers like you, to improve and enhance the Dentrix software.
We want to hear from you!
You may search for an idea using the field below, or enter your own idea if nobody else has made the same suggestion. To vote on an idea, simply click the “vote” button that is shown beneath the vote tally for each suggestion.
If you submit your own idea, please try to explain why this feature would help your office, so that other users (and our development team) can better understand why the feature is important to you.
If your idea is related to a legal requirement such as a new prescription or claim form (or changes to an existing form), please be sure to provide a link to a website that provides documentation regarding the changes, or attach the documentation to the idea directly (please do not attach any documents, screen shots, or other files that contain patient-specific, HIPAA-protected information).
We’re listening to the voice of our customers, so we can make the Dentrix software even better!

Ability to set up two different continuing care defaults
It would be great to have the ability to set up two different continuing care defaults for the same procedure. Currently you can only set up one default and then anything other than that needs either a different code or has to be done manually every time. Thanks.

RECALL LIST FOR PAST 3 YEARS
Dentrix doesn't have proper report of recall list.
I called and asked for a report; list of patients that they have not been here for 3 years for cleaning and it is not accurate at all.

Improve Text Reminders
I tried to tailor the title of my suggestion but MyVoice kept auto-filling to "Improve Text Reminders"
Dentrix started listing multiple appointment times that are on the same day in text reminders. The problem is that we routinely have an empty appointment 10 minutes early for patients who are routinely late. Also, we have patients come in early for xrays sometimes, then they see another provider. We would like to supress listing multiple appointment times in the text reminders, just listing the earliest as it used to do. Multiple times are confusing patients.

Cut off times for email and text reminders for early appointments should be adjustable by office!
The current settings for the appointment confirmations are upsetting some of our patients. Our office offers early morning appointments as early as 7:00 a.m. and with the current settings our patients are getting their two hour reminders at 9:00 p.m. the night before their appointment. It would be nice to be able to customize the reminder parameters to fit each office's needs.

Con
If a patient's current Continuing Care appointment is set to ASAP, the next Continuing Care copies the previous appointment exactly, including the schedule type. It makes it ASAP instead of defaulting to the default appointment setup setting of Fixed. This creates confusion and wastes time when using the ASAP list.

Auto inactivate pts that have not been seen for several years.
Im finding it very time consuming to have to comb through pts on my count. care list that have not been seen at the office sense 2014. It would be very useful to be able to auto inactivate pts we know are not returning to out office instead of manually inactivating each patient. OR we should be able to print a cont care report with an option to enter dates of pts who have been here within a certain time period.

Countinuing care and FMX
It would be great if when you post a FMX complete the computer would automatically update the continuing care for the bwing and pa's. Since they are part of the FMX. Now we have to go in and do it manually.

Medical History Update
I would like a way to easily flag that a patient needs to update his/her medical history on a continuing care basis. Can we create a continuing care procedure code or alert in the system?

medical alert pop up
a medical alert pop up when you select any part of the patient's file would save a lot of time and help avoid delays for tx and allergy issues. It would be an obvious reminder to admin and clinical every time a patient is selected to schedule (so the patient can be reminded) or being treated and alert clinical to be prepared.
