Allow more than one provider to be attached to an appointment

When creating an appointment for a new patient, add the following fields: work phone, cell phone, preferred name, occupation, drivers license number, age/birthdate, referral source, insurance, emergency contact, special needs, medical alerts, drug allergies, note field, email address, etc. Would also like to be able to choose billing type and Fee Schedule. Would also like any of these fields not already in the family file to be added.

Ability for more customization and flexibility of time blocks (set them up at random). Set up a time block several times a day for one doctor (no limit). Allow notes to be added to time blocks. Should be able to assign more than six time blocks total to a provider, more than two a day and more than 12 per operatory. Set up filters for Billing Type as well as Procedure. Customize the colors. Clear time blocks for just one day or operatory. [3955 151963]

Allow the user to select multiple appointments in any of the Appointment Lists and change the Status or Type (Fixed, Open, ASAP) for the selected appointments. [3742]

In the Practice Setup, Schedule, need to be able to open a day that is usually closed. Including Vacation or Holiday setup.

Additional options and customization for Print Appointment Book View: options to print for a range of days; show half-hour blocks rather than hour blocks; hide note icons and medical alerts; print note and medical alerts with appointment information; specify order to print operatories; print in landscape or portrait format; letter-size or legal-size paper. In the Appointment Book, provide an option to display the birthdate (birthday) with the age for current and new patient appointments.

Would like the description field in the Appointment Book to automatically pull in the surfaces as well as the tooth number and procedure description, so it can be viewed on the appointment without opening it. If the treatment area is a quadrant, sextant or arch, that should also display on the appointment. [2433]

Provide an option so that when the Appointment Book is opened for the first time each day, the Day Note is displayed. Add an option for the day note to always display on the appointment book, rather than having to click on the NOTE to open it.

Allow appointments to be scheduled for longer than 24 time units.

Limit the scrolling for the Appointment Book View to only display the hours that the office is actually open (i.e. not be able to scroll to 12:00 am, if the office is open 8:00-5:00 only have the view scroll from 8:00-5:00)--unless there is an appointment scheduled outside of the hours. Should have an option to be scrolled to the current time of day whenever the Appointment Book is opened or refreshed.

The highlighted appointment that is selected in the Appointment Book needs to be more easy to see. [4254]

Add ability to copy an appointment, so that it can be set up one day and then copied for a future date. Add ability to schedule recurring appointments.

Provide an option to display the Operatory Name/Title at the top of each operatory in the Appointment Book rather than the Operatory ID; and still allow the user to change the name of the operatory.

Provide the ability to change the order in which operatories are displayed in the Appointment Book. Could be an option in the view setup. Change the operatory order by clicking and dragging.

Make time blocks that are set up for each provider to be more visible. Could have the time block set up include a color. Would like option of choosing if they are framed, hatched, or solid to indicate the nature of the time block. [658]
