Make ipad signature possible!!
Very disappointed. We were sold the idea of going paperless by using ecentral questionnaires and still can not have a legal signature on our ipads when the patient completes the medical history update. Our office is very unhappy!! I can not believe that Dentrix would not have the appropriate legally required signature space available for our patient's to sign with in the software program developed for ipads accurately.
Could you please make the signature capability possible when using the ipad. That is our main form of all patient responses and medical and financial updates.

questionnaire
Please add a "You've successfully completed the questionnaire", so the poor patient isn't wondering isn't wondering if the page has dropped or if the office has successfully received the documents. I have patients filling the forms out multiple times and get to our office and we have no forms.

Have the Questionnaire responses be in a different color - red, for example. More easily visible.
Have the responses in Questionnaires be in a contrasting color such as red, for easier visibility.

Auto confirmation for on-line forms
eCental - When patients complete forms on-line and hit "submit", create a reply with a confirmation message that the forms were sent. This is actually a big deal and causes a lot of confusion for our new patients.

Consent forms via Ipad so patient can sign while in chair. This is the wave of the future people!
Enable consent forms to be signed on Ipad like questionnaires so patient does not have to get out of dental chair to sign.

New Patient forms
Many of our patients feel the new patient registration and the medical history forms are redundant. Isn't there any way to just flow from the new patient registration form to medical history form? Then the patient doesn't have to click on two separate forms and also streamline the process. So many times, our patients fill out only one of the two forms.

Kiosk Questionnaires
I would like our patients to be able to check in on Kiosk iPads sooner than same day. In some cases parents want to complete this process in advance of their teenager children coming in.

Medical History - Kiosk
I would like to see the entire Medical History populate into Kiosk for repeat patients instead of just Patient Information. Sometimes patients return as quickly as next day, and they have to start completely over with a lengthy list of medications, etc.

medical kiosk doesn't allow for a 2 digit last name
The kiosk asks for 3 digits of a first and last name but a lot of out pts only have 2. EX: Ma, Ng, Jo, etc. This needs to change to be completely paperless.

Medication list in unending
Currently, when using the ipad in kiosk, the medications that the patient enters ends up being added to a very long list of medications. The fact that what the patient enters affects our drop down list, makes the drop down unusable because the list becomes way too long because one med may be listed 15 times if it is misspelled in 15 different ways.I would like to see medication list which only the dental staff can have access to.

Adding a photo to Patient consents in Questionnaire
We are looking to add a photo to a patient treatment consents in questionnaire. This is not a feature as of now!

Allow for customization of Patient Information Health History selections in questionnaires
Unable to change the patient information health history options so that they are confluent with the health history module. There is no option to separate allergies from health history conditions. For instance, in the pre set health history options Metals is listed as a health history condition. Makes us look like we don't know how to take a health history. Poor programming. This should be corrected immediately.

flag questionnaire
Questionnaires should be able to "flag" the chart when they are expired.
Once the medical history or HIPAA Privacy Act form is "expired" it would be reasonable to have a flag open when the patient's chart is opened or better yet a symbol on the patient's appointment signaling the front desk that they have paperwork that needs to be completed before the appointment.3 votes -

Patient Kiosk - not having to go through all forms
Instead of patients having to click through all their forms, there should just be a simple sign in program that allows the patient to type in their name, birthdate and then get brought to a screen that says thank you we will be with you shortly. this would be much faster and easier for the patients especially if there are more patients waiting to check in.

Provider Default when transferring new patients from Questionaire
Dentrix should transfer the provider that the new patient is scheduled under when transferring from Questionaire to Family File. This would really help with an office that has multiple providers.

On-line Registration
FIX YOUR ON-LINE REGISTRATION. IT IS SO FRUSTRATING THAT OUR PATIENTS STILL CAN NOT REGISTER ON-LINE. ONE DAY IT WORKS, THE NEXT IT DOESN'T AND THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR TOO LONG NOW. GET IT TOGETHER.
