Allow a practice to specify criteria for displaying a patient alert when a patient who matches the criteria is selected. Global patient alerts that apply to any patients who meet certain criteria specified by the practice. For example, display a Patient Alert when a patient is selected for the Chart who has a Medical Alert. Or when a patient is selected in the Appointment Book who has more than 2 missed appointments or who has a balance over 90 days or over a certain amount, or a patient has had a cleaning within the last 6 months, etc. [3431 10750]

Allow users to select any patient as the insurance subscriber/insured party. Do not limit to family members. Does not want to enter patients more than once for insurance purposes. [1685]

Allow for more phone numbers, with a flag to indicate which is the preferred phone number, or the order of the phone numbers to be used when contacting the patient. Provide more options for Patient Status. Allow the practice to customize Patient Status. For example: Patient, Non-patient, Non-person, Inactive, Archived, Deceased, Moved, No Response, To Collections etc. Provide more options for Family Position. Allow the practice to customize Family Postion. For example: Widowed, Deceased, Partner, Divorced etc.

All the practice to suspend a Patient Alert for only the current workstation when the "Do Not Show This Alert Again Today" checkbox is marked.

No provider could possibly render treatment or give an Rx without knowing what medications a patient is currently taking. We need easy access to a list and totally user customizable and UNLIMITED....

Allow the user to archive or inactivate multiple patients at one time, according to specific parameters. For example: by billing type, by primary provider, by insurance plan, by last visit date, etc. Should list patients first for the user to remove any from the list to be archived or inactivated.

Need to change patient record so that medical alerts are a note, saved with the patient. Still allow selecting from the list, but insert selections in the patient's medical alerts note. Allow each medical alert for a patient to have a note for that patient. Should be able to attach an individual, customized medical alert to a patient without adding it to the main list. Display all of the patient's medical alerts, not just the first 3 or 4.

Create a place to enter Pharmacy information. This might work like current Insurance Maintenance or Employer Maintenance. Information should at least include name, address, phone number, and fax number field. Allow patients to show a preferred Pharmacy, viewed or edited from the Family File and/or the Prescriptions fields.

Provide the option for patient notes to always display without the need to open them each time a patient is selected. [2040]

If an insurance plan has a note, display a button that is colored to indicate whether or not there is a note for the insurance plan. The button should be available right on the Family File main window, added to the insurance information box. [699 1568]

Have the ability to flag an insurance co. with information that would be attached to anyone who has the same ins. ie... BWX 1x mo, Fluoride 1 x 12, Pano 3 years etc... Instead of flagging each individual patient

It would be nice if you could see family appointments scheduled in the family file. When our office purges charts, we check appointments scheduled and account balance; then we will inactive as neccessary. It would be nice to see all of this information on one screen!

For an incoming call, link to the caller id on the phone and list all patients that have the phone number in one of their phone number fields, to select the patient and automatically display a window with basic information related to most common calls (next appointment, balance, last insurance payment, etc.) with links to other areas of DENTRIX. I would like to have a spot in the family file to put a maiden name or old name and then the ability to search by Maiden name/old name when searching for a patient. When patients get married or divorced they will usually change their name, and we also have lots of children whose name has changed due to adoptive status or foster status.

We need to be able to search by date of birth

Automatically update the patient's Consent Date according to the response date for a specific Questionnaires form. Have a flag or date of the most recent Questionnaire responses. Display an Alert for any patients whose most recent responses are more than a preferred number of months ago. For example more than 6 months old or 1 year old.
