I would like to be able to drag and drop a document sent to me via email directly into the document center. Right now I have to drag to desktop, release, then redrag and drop into doc center, then delete item on desktop.

So that you can directly go to a document from the Chart by tooth or procedure. By multiple teeth or multiple procedures would even be better.

The document center can be more robust. A nice feature to add would be a checkbox that whenever you print something from within Dentrix (treatment plan, statements, walkouts, etc), you have the option to add a copy to the document center without having to reprint using the Dentrix Printer Driver.

Allow documents in the Document Center to be ARCHIVED based on the date scanned. This way old documents won't need to be part of the daily backup (saving tons of offsite storage space = money). Allow the user to see archived documents in the doc center for a patient if needed. (Basically this would entail saving archived docs to a separate folder that could be backed up separately).

When we open the document center, I think all documents under that particular patient should be automatically open without having to click the +icon under the patient image. There are two additional steps to access a particular document. With the way the document center is designed and having plenty of space, there is no reason for a tree and all documents should be displayed when the document center opens with the categories and subcategories for easy access with NO ADDITIONAL CLICKS.

When printing a document which has been signed, there should be an option to print the signature and date along with the document. An option to print the notes would also be appreciated.

We want to be able to attach EOB images received from insurance to ledger entries. Right now we scan them into doc center and the only link we have to be able to locate eob is the date of service.

Would like the treatment plans to go to the document center automatically like the staments do.

Be able to edit a document printed to dentrix document center. Maybe send it in a format other than pdf.

We need a button in the office journal that sends a selection to the document center. That would make attaching narratives to claims and prede's a lot easier and quicker. At the very least a way to print just the one selection, without getting the whole journal printed.

Always have to drag viewing panes to size I want every time I open Doc center. Would be nice to be able to have layout remain same unless changed again instead of going back to default.

After you scan something it brings up the document details. Can we pls have our cursor go to document Type first (or at least be able to use our tabs) so we can change that first instead of going right to the description? I have to use the mouse to go back and choose the document type...it is great to be able to just use the keyboard.

It would be nice to have a click & drag feature in the Document Center when zoomed into a document (instead of scrolling up and down, left and right.

It would be be nice to combine pdf documents that have been sent to document center printer and not just images.

Add the option to print the document notes when we print out a scanned in document

When you need to send an e-mail to a referred dentist to discuss a pt treatment you should be able to not only create the e-mail but save the e-mail in the document center. This would enable less steps in the e-mail process

When I am downloading my patient photos in document center, I am unable to print them in a collage format. Meaning more than one photo per page.
