Letter merge: More patient fields

Send forms through fax or email
Would like to be able to send billing statements, walkout statements, day sheets, appointment reminders, treatment plans, tooth chart, perio chart, insurance claims, prescriptions and any other necessary forms via e-mail. [5546]

Letter merge: option for one correspondence per family
When doing letter merge, have option for if more than one person at the same address is found, then only one card is created to all. Provide options to get continuing care cards for each family with a continuing care due, listing all family members and date due if they are due for cont. care.

automatically save a copy of an email sent out to a pt in their journal or doc center
When creating an email from the family file, currently in the journal it just says message sent - it would be GREAT if the message typed was saved into their journal or document center automatically

Auto Dial improvements and available in more areas
Add the Auto Dial feature to more areas such as the Family File and Chart. Improve options for area code and long distance. Display patient name. Display work extension. [986 2160 2763 4242 4814 115238]

Tickler File
A file that reminds staff who the patient is and info about patient (father passed last week, kid going to college). When patient comes in you recognize them and express sympathy or ask about college child, helps be more personable and patient appreciate personal feed back from things they mentioned in last appointment.

Quick Letters automatically copy into Document Center
When we create letters using “Dentrix Quick Letters” to send it to patients reminding treatment plan or sending them to collections and so forth, there is a journal entry added to patient chart. I don’t see a reason why a copy of the letter can be included in the document center so that the copy of the letter is available for quick reference when the staff needs them.

Text Message Phone # in Family File
Add a Text Message phone # to the family file. This number would be the only number used for texting appointment reminders. Patients opt in by giving you a text #. If blank, they automatically opt out of text correspondence.

Our patients are asking if there is a way to have their appointment added to their Outlook or Google Calendar directly from the email we send to them.

We would like to have a system that would integrate the phone system with Dentrix to call patients with an automated appointment reminder.

On E-Mail confirmations - simply put up "Thank You for confirming" .
Make it simple for patients, they do not want to be bothered these days, everyone is busy. It is confusing, they get a small blurb that they are confirmed and most of the screen is dedicated to ask them to login or create account. LARGE LETTERS - THANK YOU FOR CONFIRMING please.

E-mail appointment reminders - confirmed appts
We currently send out e-mail reminders 7 day and 2 days prior to appointments. It would be nice if once the appointment was confirmed the 2nd e-mail would not go out.

include word processing program in Dentrix
Instead of purchasing a MS Word software license for every workstation, have it included in the Dentrix software package. Should be more economical and all workstations would be on same version of word processing.

Email confirmation button needs to show on main screen of email..now need to scroll
Now patient does not see confirmation button and either does not respond or sends us a seperate email-does not show unless they scroll down which most do not do when they see the appt reminder card
