Would like to be able to schedule reminders that display. For calls to be made, letters and reports to be printed, and various tasks, and the ability to check them off as they are done (could be added to Office Journal). Specify which provider or staff the alert is for. Also need call reminders in the appointment book. Should have an option to attach a "beep" or "chime" to the reminders to catch their attention. When the reminder pops up, should have options to cancel, remind again in five minutes, remind again in one hour, remind again in one day (for tasks that aren't time-critical and can't be done on busy days), remind again in one week or a specified range (one month, one year,etc.), or print reminder message. When setting up tasks to be reminded of, should be able tospecify whether this is a one-time only task, a daily task, a weekly task, a monthly task, etc.

Need to be able to attach insurance maximums/limitations to individual procedure codes and/or categories (could be done with coverage tables). Both monetary maximums and a maximum number of times the code will be covered each year, as in the case of prophies, bitewings, etc. Also age limtes. Should tie into the Continuing Care system so a warning message comes up if an appointment is scheduled before insurance will pay for it, and a patient will be flagged when their insurance will once more pay for a procedure. Also needed in the case of crowns and other procedures that will not be covered within five years of the initial placement. Would also like to setup separate lifetime and annual maximums for certain categories, such as orthodontic and perio work, and flag any procedures or categories that should not be counted against any maximum. Display these limitation in the Treatment Planner and on the Route Slip. Need to be able to specify which services the Maximum applies to. [4068]

Add a column to the Treatment Planner that calculates and shows discounts or write-offs. Show credit adjustments as part of the treatment plan (cash discounts). Wants to be able to see adjustments as part of the treatment plan financing without adding the adjustments to the patients account until the treatment plan is completed--should have option to post automatically when the treatment plan is completed. Add options for the Treatment Planner to calculate discounts and taxes (similar to the Ledger, Enter Tax / Discount option). For calculating, there could be options for "Selected Procedures" for "Selected Case" or "Selected Visit". There should be options for any adjustments for the treatment plan to be included when the the treatment plan is printed, on the related reports. Offices have asked to be able to show discounts in the Presenter.

Add the ability to attach specific procedure codes to certain providers for the default provider to use when a procedure code is posted. The user should be able to set up a procedure or multi-code to post for the patient's Prov1 (primary provider in the Family File), the patient's Prov2 (secondary provider in the Family File), or to a specific provider. This would provide the user with more options for posting procedures besides defaulting to the patient's Prov1 or to the provider selected in the Chart. This should include the ability to set up a multi-code for some procedures to default to Prov1 and some to default to Prov2. Wants to be able to use a multi code to enter procedures that are normally done by the dentist and the hygienist (recall exam). Would like the ability of assigning/attaching a provider to each procedure in a multi code. In the Chart, Ledger, and Appointment Book, when multi codes are used, the provider should default to the one selected (Chart provider selected, Ledger transaction entry provider selected, and provider of appointment).

Would like to be able to customize the Appointment Book View/Print Appointment Book View in the following ways: show more information on the appointment, such as cell phone number, option to hide the providers' color bars along the side; option to display a timebar between each operatory to make it easier to see what time appointments are; provide a tooltip over each colorbar to identify the associated provider; ability to break scheduled production down by operatory and provider; option to bold some of the lines displayed for the appointment block; options to display patient's age, chart number, referral source, insurance plan, benefits remaining, account balance, parents' names (display only for patients whose age is calculated as child), tooth surfaces for appropriate codes, appointment status, and any continuing care attached to the appointment, also needs to be able to default to always select all providers, even if a new provider is added and be able to show cell phone and other numbers.
Also needs to allow users to select as many operatorys as they would like to display (The current only allows up to 10, or "all")

Provide a formatted list of all patients who have had a specific procedure, range of procedures or multiple procedures within a date range (completed or treatment planned), with subtotals for each patient. Provide options to select specific procedures for the report. Options to sort the list by largest production to least production. List total production from all patients. Provide a way to find the top 20% of patients according to production--"80/20 Report". Option to group/run this report by Guarantor/Head of house. An option to run a production-only day sheet, listing only the procedures done with the patients' names. Production summary for one insurance company and its subscribers. For only procedures attached to continuing care. Should include totals of the number of patients who had each procedure done, as well as the original date of service on each procedure. Include the number of times a procedure has been performed for each patient on the list. Include tooth number: See how many of each procedure was done on specific tooth numbers.
