  1. CREDIT DOESN'T SHOW IN LEDGER

    Since the latest update last week, we can no longer see when a patient has a credit on their account at the bottom of the ledger. PLEASE fix this. Thank you.

      We are still looking into this, however it looks like this change occurred as part of an effort to increase the readability of the ledger. It was determined that the “Family Portion of Balance” should not reflect negatives, however you should still be able to see negatives on the “Family Balance” section of the ledger.

      As I said, we’re still actively reviewing and looking into this, please comment to let us know what you think about this, so that we have as much data as possible for this review.

      • Entering STAFF ID should be mandatory and the system should NOT just use who last made appt.

        At this time when using pinboard - the computer leaves the original ID in Staff ID. When changing or making new appt - this should go blank and always require the person making the appt add their ID. The history is an important feature but this is important. IE I don't make appt anymore yet my ID is still connected to the new appt made using the pinboard.

        • Remove or Archive Providers no longer with the practice

          We have maximized our providers and are no longer able to add new providers. To make room for new providers, we would like to be able to archive deceased or inactive providers.

            This is definetly a valid request, and it’s an understandable pain point.

            I’d like to recommend you contact our support team though, they do have the ability to change Provider ID’s, which could potentially allow you to re-use some of the provider ID’s that weren’t used very much.

            Either way, I’ll make sure this is documented.

          • Cross over tool for appointment book

            it would be nice to have a tool to mark on the appointment book for cross over patients. going from one room to another.

            • RED Balance in Family File (like Cont. Care)

              If there is a balance (anything over 0.00) instead of it being colored black like everything else in the family file - it would stand out better if it was bold/colored red like the past due Cont. Care.

              • We need to be able to change the phone #s that are displayed on the daysheet to cell #s. no one has a home phone anymore.

                The Day Sheet shows patients home # BUT it needs to show their cell#s. No one has a home number and if they do they do not use it!

                • There are several insurances that do not take e-file. I want to set up those insurances only to print.

                  • Automatic daily list for recare appts and unscheduled treatment

                    A automatic list that pulls from continuing care and unscheduled treatment plans every day to give the front office a constant reminder of who is due/overdue for recare (and unscheduled) or has an unscheduled treatment plan by date, a list that will give options of due today, overdue by 1 month, 2 months, etc.

                    • Moving multiple appointments at one time

                      Move one column of patients in an operatory to another operatory without having to move individually. This would be a great time saver.

                      • Processing pre-treatment estimates into completed visits

                        It would be nice to turn a pre-treatment estimate into an actual claim once the treatment is complete and submit it directly from the PTE. In the pre-treatment estimate, all x-rays, supporting documentation, and insurance pre-authorization approval numbers have already been entered. Seems redundant to have to create a new claim and add the pre-auth number if it's already been done in the PTE. Plus, once tx is complete, the pre-treatment estimate appears outstanding in the pt's treatment plan.

                        • A quick button two move the questionnaires into the Document Center

                          We are a paperless office. Through the kiosk we do all of our updates on the Ipad, from there it is send to the Questionnaire area in Dentrix, . It would be great if we could have a quick button to transfer that data to our document center. (For example when you are doing eligible with Dentrix. There is a button to Add to patient's Document center.) I know there is a way to do this that takes many steps. I don't have time for all that. I would a way to do this that saves time and paper.

                          • PowerPay changes in G6.4 are a ledger disaster

                            I cannot believe the recent changes to PowerPay payments in the ledger in G6.4. The fact that PowerPay payment amounts cannot be altered is highly defeating. First, this is inconsistent in regards to the workflow compared to other payment types (cash, check, credit cards outside of PowerPay) that aren't in history. In all of those cases, you can play around and change the amounts.

                            This is needed because there are times when you want to change the allocations on split payments, and there are times when you want to override what Dentrix is forcing you to do. But nope, this…

                              I spoke with our development team, and after a bit of deliberation and discovery, the team has agreed that this change was unintentionally affecting the ability to modify PowerPay payments through Dentrix. And have decided to reverse this change in our Q4 2017 release, which is currently in development.

                                • Treatment plan expiration date

                                  Have a feature that automatically sets the expiration date of the treatment plan 30, 60 or 90 days after presentation. Right now the date is based on the date the treatment is diagnosed - sometimes patient's don't move forward with tx for years then when presenting that tx expiration date is years prior. You have to manually change the date everytime.

                                    • EClaims services needs to include bringing over Insurance Benefit Data into the Patient Insurance File Fields

                                      I was under the impression that my eclaims services would not just verify insurance eligibility but actually bring insurance data over into the Dentrix insurance fields like Trojan Professional Services or systems. This is one reason I signed up for eclaims. Trojan Professional Services also does automatic eligibility checks but it has a data base of plans that plug in the notes and numbers related to the plan into Dentrix insurance fields for a patient's Family File. Consider buying into Trojan services for all Eclaims offices and integrate it into your eclaims services. I would pay you added $25 per…

                                      • Most offices have a membership plan for patients. Would like a way to set it up in Dentrix with multiple renewal dates

                                        We have a membership plan for patients with no insurance. Feel that Dentrix should have a way to post it in computer as a membership plan instead of insurance as we have been doing. Need to be able to have multiple different renewal dates.

                                        • Allow Mass texts to be sent in communication manager to patients in need of a cleaning or that we have openings in our schedule today

                                          Solution Reach allowed us to send out mass texts to our patients in need of a cleaning or who were waiting to get in with a specialist. It was very helpful and gave us the opportunity to fill our schedule fast.
