  1. Find a way to update fee guides that are not calendar year

    As of now in New-Brunswick we have different fee guides: General, Social development, NIHB and Healthy Smiles. The issue is that they are not available on the same year cycles. Some updates are available in January, March and April. So if Dentrix downloads the fee guide in January and then we try to do one in April,all my treatment plans that contain codes that we modified manually (like 99111) will turn to 0$ from January to April. The treatment plans moving forward will be fine but all the estimates and tx plan given to patients from January to April will…

  2. Mobile-ca removal in G7 update

    G7 removed the mobile.ca option that was available in the G6 version. This was a useful tool that is no longer available?? Updates are designed to enhance the existing version, not remove previous features. Big disappointment Dentrix. -nk

  3. G7-Unable to process BATCH insurance payments!

    We recently upgraded to G7 and many of the improvements are great. However, I am unable to process batch insurance payments in this version - very frustrating and now quite time consuming. I am able to initiate the batch process as in G6, however I am unable to choose "electronic" payment (only "check" is available/default) and once the first claim payment is processed under the "check" default, I can then go back in to the payment and change it to "electronic" (an extra step), but then I am unable to move on to select the next patient/claim in the batch…

  4. Using patient insurance on separate accounts

    To be able to link a patient's insurance to another patient not on the same account. Ex. Family of 4 (mom, dad, 2 kids). Dad has insurance. Dad no longer on family account (has his own), but kids are still on his insurance. Mom wants kids on her account. We should still be able to use Dad's insurance with kids, w/o having to move kids to Dad's new account or keeping dad on old account.

  5. Daily huddle Report- FIx Inacurate info

    The "family member with no future appointment" section pulls incorrect & unreliable information. Please correct.

  6. Inactive patient report that runs based on date they were inactivated

    being able to run a report where you can choose the date range based on when the patient was inactivated. Currently there is only the option to see a mass list of everyone who is inactive but it is based on their last visit.

  10. Correct the Alberta Fee Installer to say Alberta instead of Alberta Blue Cross

    The fee schedule installer states Alberta Blue Cross when in that province that is only considered an insurance name like Metlife, etc. Some offices feel like they are only installing the fee guide for Alberta Blue Cross and not the other insurances. So it could be corrected to say the province name like the other provinces in Canada.

  11. Entering patient health number

    I would like to see a box to be able to enter a patient's health number for their province. The prescription form should then be able to access the the number as we need them to write prescriptions in Canada

  13. Link Continuing Care Status to the journal

    When you enter a status for a continuing care patient in their CC window that a journal entry is made. Therefore, if you call to remind a pt that they need to book, you mark the status as "Left msg on phone" etc the journal will have an entry and the hygienist can also see the status on the pt family file.

  14. Please put CDA dental pre treatment estimate forms in the treatment planner so there is more room for info needed 1668672- Canada

    Instead of having the form that is used currently when creating estimates for patients, it would make more sense to use the standard CDA pre treatment claim forms so we have more room to enclose the information that is needed to send estimates off to insurance companies. I have attached a copy of the standard est form that most offices are using in Ontario. Thanks!

  15. Electronic EOB for Canada.

    Canada has been waiting years to have the ability for electronic EOBS. We should have an option come up asking if we want to print it or send to patients Documnet centre. This is crazy we do not have this yet. Every other Canadian software has been doing this for years. Every office in Canada would vote on this.

  16. Archive to the document center the printout of the insurance confirmation sent by CDAnet

    I am a Canadian user from Ontario. And I use Itrans to send electronic claims using the internet. Dentrix is far behind in dealing with Canadian insurance issues. Please add the ability to archive and save to the document center the printout of the insurance confirmation sent by CDAnet. This is done very well by ABELDent your major Canadian competition. This will allow me as the owner of the office to keep track of what claims are being sent without relying on my staff to keep a paper trail in a "paperless" office.
